The cast consists of very popular actors like Prabhu Deva, Archit Tiwari, Revathi, Ashwini Kalsekar, Vivek Mushran, Shatrughan Sinha, Seema Deo and Sanjay Mishra. This film won the following awards:Prabhu Deva earned Rs. 1,00,000 for his role in this film. The film scored above average reviews from the critics and was well received by audiences. The film crossed 100 million mark at box office in 25 days since its release and the overall collection of the film is about Rs. 60 million. A sequel has already been written by Prabhu Deva, with Archit Tiwari reprising his role as 'Kurkuri'. The soundtrack was composed by V. Kumar. Lyrics were penned by Janakim Chimnoy, Vivek Sharma and Vivek Deo. The song "Kurkuri Bhai" from this film sung by Sunidhi Chauhan received a Certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (India) as 'Adults Only' category song, which means it's not a kid's song and will be played only in cinemas which screen 'adult' movies for general public."Ekamatrik Ekadasi" was revived as a web series on Amazon Prime Video on August 31, 2017, with 3 episodes each of 20 minutes duration. They were released every Saturday until October 30, 2017. The series soon got discontinued and is no longer available on Amazon Prime Video.The music of this film is composed by V. Kumar, who also composed the background score for the film.
